About Legalisms
Taking the "legalisms" out of the conversation—one insight at a time.
I started Legalisms.ca to explore how technology and strategy are redefining the legal landscape. As a commercial lawyer, I’m interested in high-level analysis that moves past the "technical and the literal" to find actionable wisdom. My aim is to make the law more efficient, more strategic, and less "legalistic."
Why "Legalisms"?
(lē′gə-lĭz′əms)
1. Overly strict, literal, excessive conformity or rigid
adherence to the law.
2. A legal term or expression, especially one that is unnecessarily
technical.
While the legal profession often rewards the rigid and the complex, Legalisms.ca exists to bridge the gap. Whether it’s transforming commercial contracts into strategic business assets or navigating the nuances of emerging tech, the focus here is on clarity and partnership over jargon and bureaucracy.
